Chris Sale somehow got smacked around by the Twins yesterday, making it through just three innings and giving up six runs. Sale will face the Indians this week and will hopefully right the ship with most H2H owners in playoff mode.

Making his first start since May, James Paxton gave up three runs to the Rockies over four innings, striking out four and walking three. Paxton has shown no ability to stay healthy over the past two years, nor has he been consistently effective. Once a highly touted prospect with huge strikeout potential, Paxton is now a back-end starter in AL-only formats.

Michael Conforto belted his seventh homer of the season yesterday, bringing his line to .290/.371/.540. Conforto played every day last week, and aside from normal days off, projects to do the same going forward.

Mat Latos has been demoted to the Dodgers bullpen after struggling in his five starts as a member of the team. Latos was acquired on the cheap, but he was expected to add some stability to the back-end of the Dodgers rotation.

Streaming Pitcher Options
If you enjoy streaming pitchers or play DFS, tune into the Roto Riteup for recommendations each and every day.

A pitcher for today: Logan Verrett vs MIA (Justin Nicolino)
We’ve seen what Verrett can do as both a reliever and a spot starter this year. Let’s go for another round.

A pitcher for tomorrow: Mark Buerhle at ATL (Julio Teheran)
Clearly not the pick if you’re looking for strikeouts, but Buerhle has a good route to a W.

Pick up Neil Walker or Starlin Castro or (insert little owned pit or chc player) for double header? Better to drop R Zimmerman (injury) or T Walker (innings cap)?
