Today’s Agenda
1. Mark Trumbo loves being a Diamondback
2. Alex Cobb rebounds against the Rangers
3. Ben Revere starts out hot
4. The Daily Five
Mark Trumbo loves being a Diamondback
The powerful right-handed slugger has already accumulated five homers this season, hitting one yesterday off of Brett Anderson of the Colorado Rockies. I’m not going to mention his pace here, because I’m not mentally deficient, but it’s fair to mention that Trumbo has begun taking advantage of his move to the National League West. There was a fair chance that Trumbo could lead the NL in dingers, and now that he’s gotten off to a hot start, those odds have improved.
Alex Cobb rebounds against the Rangers
Cobb struggled in his opening start against the Blue Jays, but he pitched great yesterday against the Texas Rangers, striking out six over seven innings without surrendering a run. Cobb was dominant last season, and Sunday’s performance is what owners are going to want to see most times out.
Ben Revere starts out hot
While Emilio Bonifacio gets all the hype, Revere has quitely been the man when it comes to snagging some bases. Revere stole his four base yesterday, and the speedy outfielder has yet to be caught. This could easily be a return to the 2012 Ben Revere, in which he stole 40 bags in less than 50 tries while hitting over .290 for the Twins. I know I bet on Revere in a league or two, so this makes me very, very happy.
The Daily Five
SP – Scott Kazmir, $9,000
It’s a small crop of games today, and Kazmir gets to travel to Target Field to face the shitty Twins.
SP – Michael Wacha, $8,400
Wacha at home against a mediocre Reds’ offense? Thank you very much.
1B – Brandon Moss, $3,500
Moss made an impact yesterday against the M’s, and now he gets to square off against Kevin Correia.
SS – Jed Lowrie, $3,800
I don’t like Kevin Correia. Not on a personal level, though I’ve never met the man, so maybe.
OF – Kole Calhoun, $4,300
Jarrod Cosart may have some pedigree, but he’s not overly impressive.

The shitty twins that lead the AL in runs scored…
I care not for your facts.
