The Sleeper and the Bust DFS Contest!
Every week on Tuesday’s Paul Sporer and I run a DFS contest for The Sleeper and the Bust podcast. This week’s winner was James Allen!

No-No Fiers
On a night where the game was almost postponed due to an issue with the lights, Mike Fiers ended up throwing a 131 pitch no-hitter.

Fiers is still not fantasy relevant outside of AL Only leagues, but that doesn’t take away from how good he was or how amazing the moment was.

Various News and Notes
According to multiple media outlets, the Nationals have interest in Gerardo Parra. Parra signed a one-year deal with the Giants before the season, but struggled offensively to the point where he was designated for assignment. Parra has elected free agency and could end up in Washington where the Nationals are thin in the outfield.

Mac Williamson was called up to the Major Leagues by the San Francisco Giants. Williamson responded by hitting a homerun in Colorado. He had been on fire in AAA, hitting three home runs on Monday.

Williamson is expected to play virtually every day in left field for the Giants and is worth grabbing in deeper formats as a swing change last year has helped him hit for more power. He just needs to stay healthy.

Max Fried left Tuesday’s game with a hand injury after being hit on the hand with a comebacker. X-rays were negative after the game and the Braves are hopeful that he will be able to make his next start.

Tampa Bay Rays prospect Brent Honeywell has been shut down from throwing after experiencing an issue in his arm. It is being described as a “possible nerve issue” at this time. He is recovering from Tommy John Surgery, but this is the second time in about a month he has had to stop the rehab process because of issues. Honeywell is largely considered one of the better pitching prospects in baseball, but this is the risk of pitching prospects in fantasy.

Streaming Pitching Options (Less than 50% owned)
Pitcher for Today: None

High Risk Options: Reynaldo Lopez at CLE
Lopez got torched in his last start, but prior to that he seemed to be turning a corner. Cleveland’s lineup isn’t anything to be scared of, so he is worth the gamble.

Pitcher for Tomorrow: None

High Risk Options: Chris Bassitt vs CIN
I mean… the Reds just got no hit by Mike Fiers…
