Various News and Notes

Orlando Arcia was cleared to return to game action after having his ankle examined. Arcia had been dealing with a minor sprain and the team was concerned he would not be ready to travel with the team for their upcoming series, but it appears he should be ok to throw into your weekly lineups for the week.

David Dahl was recalled by the Rockies. With both Carlos Gonzalez (injury) and Gerardo Parra (suspension) out, the Rockies were in need of outfield depth and Dahl is finally healthy. He could get a fair amount of work over the next week, but he has yet been able to stay on the field long enough to deliver on the enormous prospect pedigree and expectations he has had.

Adam Wainwright has hit te DL with an elbow injury. Wainwright was supposed to pitch Tuesday and will likely be replaced with Jack Flaherty in the rotation, who is scheduled to pitch that day in AAA. Flaherty was great in his first Major League start this year and has duplicated those numbers in 20 minor league innings. He should be grabbed in all formats he was dropped in.

Kris Bryant left Sunday’s game after being hit in the head:

This was a scary injury, but Bryant passed concussion after the game and appears to have escaped major injury. Consider him day-to-day at this time.

According to Mark Bowman, Jose Bautista could be ready to join the Braves Major League roster at some point in this upcoming road trip. Autista was signed to minor league deal and has been playing in extended spring training games and appears to be close to being ready. He is worth stashing in deeper formats.

Anthony Rendon was placed on the 10-Day DL with a toe injury. The injury has kept him out of the lineup for over a week, but the Nationals tried to avoid him hitting the DL, which should indicate that this won’t be a long stay on the disabled list. The move is retroactive to April 19th.

Buehler gets the spot start today versus an awful Marlins squad. Should be able to carve them up.

“Autista” is just mean.
