Roto Riteup: May 29th, 2012
The Roto Riteup does not subscribe to the “brony” movement, even though RR contributor David Wiers sure does. Four sevenths majority, b*tches!
• Prospect alert! Lonnie Chisenhall has been recalled to the bigs after incumbent third baseman Jack Hannahan landed on the DL with a calf problem. Until Hannahan finds the baby cow running free in Cleveland, Chisenhall will be asked to fill-in alongside Jose Lopez. Chisenhall got his chance last season, but he was only 22-years old at the time and clearly not ready for big league pitching. Down in Triple-A this year, Chisenhall has been showing off some new found levels of power from the left side, but it has come at the expense of free passes. Chisenhall wasn’t exactly patient during his stint in the bigs, but seeing him swing away in the minors is another problem all together. Chisenhall is interesting in AL-only leagues, but don’t get carried away and grab him in mixed leagues just yet.
• Carlos Quentin is now off the DL and pushed into active duty for the Padres. Jesus Guzman had been filling in at left field, but since he’s not showing any of the power he displayed last year, he’ll be bounced from the starting lineup. Quentin is going to be an interesting experiment for the Padres, and it’s a shame we’ve had to wait this long to see how it all plays out. If you’re looking for a HR boost in NL-only leagues, go grab him.
• Speaking of powerful right-handed hitters, Mark Reynolds is now back in the big leagues. You should consider adjusting your lineups accordingly, but hopefully you have another third baseman in place and have the ability to keep Reynolds stashed on the DL until he proves he can be moderately productive.
For those of you who play daily fantasy games like FanGraphs: The Game, or just like to stream players, here are a couple matchups you may be able to exploit.
A Pitcher for Today: Jarrod Parker at MIN
The Twins are bad, so Parker should be able to blow them away with ease.
A Pitcher for Tomorrow: Alex Cobb vs CWS
The White Sox post only a .312 wOBA on the road, and I’m of the believe that Cobb is already a solid number four starter.
A Hitter for Today: Luke Scott vs CWS (Phil Humber)
If you weren’t aware, Humber has pretty much sucked since his perfect game. Apparently he had about 100 good pitches in him this year, and what better way to use them then in one start against a horrible offense?

Random question, need help. I just got offered Tulo and Anibal Sanchez for Jose Bautista in my league, do it?
Tough to know without more details, but I would do it in a vacuum.
