Justin Mason’s Baseball Chat – April 8th, 2024

Here is today’s chat transcript:

9:54

Justin Mason: Chat will begin shortly. In the meantime, please follow me on all my social media’s (twitter, tiktok, facebook, youtube, bluesky, mastodon, threads, post, and instagram) at JustinMasonFWFB! I am doing regular podcasts on the FWFB podcast as well as three episodes a week for the Sleeper and the Bust so definitely make sure you are subscribed there as well!

10:00

Justin Mason: Finishing up a podcast with Paul. Will begin soon.

10:08

Justin Mason: Sorry for late start!

10:08

Strategy Q: At this stage in the season, in an only league without much bench room, would you rather take a flier on an SP (WW people are Bowdin Francis, Sears, Marsh types) or possible closer (Steven Wilson, Schreiber, Shelby Miller are the types)? Feels like the starters have a higher floor (a streamer who you can use against a majority of teams is useful if not sexy) but the RPs have more ceiling (saves are way more in demand, but the path to getting there is unlikely with these names).

10:10

Justin Mason: I think it is very dependent on what my team needs. If I need saves to compete, I would take the gamble there. I really like Marsh and his situation in KC, so if I wasn’t save needy, that is who I would go with.

10:10

Too Many Mooks: So Tyler O’Neill looks like he’s back, eh?

10:10

Justin Mason: Health is always the issue with O’Neill. If he can stay healthy, he is a really good fantasy player. Ride it until he gets hurt.

10:10

Bob: Do you think high strikeout hitters Nolan Jones, Elly De La Cruz or Oneil Cruz can turn it around?

10:11

Justin Mason: Absolutely. This is what you sign up for when you draft these guys. Got to let it play out because the hot streaks will be worth it.

10:11

Bob: Is Keaton Winn worth an add in deeper leagues?

10:12

Justin Mason: I honestly don’t know. He could lose his rotation spot with Snell coming back and Alex Cobb working his way back. Short term maybe because Cobb just had a setback, but I think Long term, he probably goes to the bullpen or the minors.

10:12

The Butler Didn’t Do It: I worry that the Lawrence Butler experiment is proving a mistake. Drop for Josh H. Smith (also platoon but better lineup) or David Hamilton (Steals but…) in AL OBP?

10:12

Justin Mason: Give me Hamilton who has a ton of speed upside.

10:13

Jim Joe Kelly: Are Mountcastle & Ward must roster in 10tm format?

10:13

Justin Mason: I think Ward is for sure. Mountcastle is close but first base is so deep in a 10-team league I can understand if you don’t want to make the necessary cut.

10:13

Quentin: I am in a shallow format, 12 team, 20 man rosters, 3 OF and the 5 infield spots with one util. Looking to drop Michael Conforto for one of: Tyler O’Neil or Taylor Ward. Is this an upside vs floor decision. Which way would you lean?

10:13

Justin Mason: Give me the upside of O’Neill while he is healthy

10:14

Peter: Hey Justin, does Luis Matos find everyday at bats in SF this season? He has 2 HRs in minors already. Good stash or better with an Oliver Dunn or Blaze Alexander type?

10:14

Justin Mason: I really like Matos but he needs an injury to get back to the Majors. I think I would rather have Dunn right now.

10:14

And again: Ronel Blanco: just defying the odds or a new approach that could hold up at least in the short term? Thanks

10:16

Justin Mason: I think a little of both. He has clearly made improvements in locating the zone but it is always hard to believe that a 30-year-old journeyman will stay this good long term. Ride it until it falls apart.

10:16

Bob: Do you think Skenes will be up in April?

10:16

Justin Mason: I would say early May. Still getting stretched out.

10:16

Peter: What’s holding Colson Montgomery back to be the everyday SS?

10:16

Justin Mason: The White Sox not wanting to start his clock.

10:16

Peter: When should we expect the next wave of prospect call up this year? What are the general dates for an extra year of eligibility and Super 2 deadline?

10:16

Justin Mason: End of April/Early May

10:16

Jim Joe Kelly: Please rank these SP for ROS: Bello, Kutter, Christopher Sanchez, Crochet, Pepiot. All worth holding and finding out about in a shallow (10tm) format or any not worth it at all? Thank you

10:17

Justin Mason: Sanchez, Crochet, Crawfod, Pepiot, Bello

10:17

Justin Mason: Like them all. Would hold the first two in a shallow league and stream the rest.

10:17

Peter: James Outman has started out super slow, thoughts?

10:18

Justin Mason: This is the risk with Outman. He has loud tools, but struggles to make consistent in zone contact. There will be brighter days, but you have to be a little patient with him.

10:18

Bruce Live 2024: Looks like P.Meadows is being sent down. Drop for B.Doyle,
M. Haniger, JJ.Bleday are available. Daily roto 12T

10:18

Justin Mason: Haniger for me.

10:19

Peter: Thoughts on Michael Busch’s start to the season?

10:20

Justin Mason: He is doing everything he needs to do to keep getting PAs. Making good in-zone contact and hitting the ball hard. Love that we are starting to see him play

10:20

Vic: Deep league….15 teams. Any value to Will Brennan?

10:20

Justin Mason: As a low upside accumulator, yes, but I don’t think there is much here other than that.

10:20

Peter: Can Nolan Schanuel develop more power?

10:20

Justin Mason: Can, I think so. Will? I don’t know that he is even looking to do that.

10:20

The Path of Totality: Pepiot, Canning, Matz, or Blackburn for QS league 12-team points?

10:21

Justin Mason: Matz, Pepiot, Canning Blackburn is the order for me.

10:21

Vic: Lawrence Butler or Will Brennan?

10:21

Justin Mason: Butler has upside and Brennan is more safe. What does your team/format need?

10:21

Going Ham(ilton): Any interest in David Hamilton? Think he has MLB chops? Vs. Tyler Freeman in AL OBP league?

10:22

Justin Mason: I think he can be really valuable from a stolen base aspect if the Red Sox give him PAs. Huge upside.

10:22

Guest: How valuable is Ke’Bryan Hayes in shallower leagues compared to low % rostered 1B/3B guys like Busch, Kiriloff, Baty, etc.?

10:22

Justin Mason: I think Hayes is definitely more valuable than all those guys though I do love Busch. The role and talent floor is better for Hayes though and there is still is unrealized upside in the profile.

10:24

Darren D.: Trey Lipscomb…anything there?

10:25

Justin Mason: Probably not more than a low value accumulator but I think he is going to play regularly for now.

10:25

JD: Any word on Gavin Williams‘ ETA? Haven’t seen any updates as to whether he’s still on track for mid-April

10:25

Justin Mason: I haven’t seen anything yet

10:25

Leash on Life: How long a leash do you give for preseason darts in an only league? Not high investment guys, but people you help out hope for and with a thin WW?

10:25

Justin Mason: Probably about 3-4 weeks

10:25

JD: Slow start for Henry Davis — any reason for concern, or just give the kid time to settle in?

10:25

Justin Mason: I would give him a little time especially in leagues where you are using him as a catcher.

10:26

Justin Mason: Moving back behind the plate has a learning curve. I think he will hit well enough to have value.

10:26

Vic: What do you think it the absolute best case scenario for Josiah Gray? 200 Ks, 4 ERA, 1.25 WHIP?

10:27

Justin Mason: That would be huge if he could get there. I just don’t know unless he makes a massive change that the ERA will be consistently under 4.40

10:27

Adenolith: Standard H2H – My opponent and I both have 8 starts this week and I’m looking to add one more starter to lock in a better chance at Ks/Ws without destroying my ratios. Between R. Olson (Pit, Min), Paxton (Min, SD), Kremer (Mil), or Bryce Miller (Chc), I’m leaning Olson. Does that sound right to you? Also have Jared Jones on the bench, but v Phi is too scary for me.

10:27

Justin Mason: I think Olson is the right call, but I love Kremer

10:28

Brian: Hello Justin, 11 Team, 5×5 Roto…Who to start Whitlock v LAA, King v LAD, Bello v BAL & LAA?

10:28

Justin Mason: Whitlock

10:28

Vic: Will the Pirates leave Peguero in the minors until there’s a problem at SS, 2B, or 3B?

10:28

Justin Mason: I think so.

10:28

Bob: Who do you prefer as a MI: Jose Caballero or Blaze Alexander?

10:28

Justin Mason: Caballero

10:28

B.Buxton: Can I get 100+ RBIs in the 3-4hole if I get 450ABs this year?

10:28

Justin Mason: I think you need a few more plate appearances and to stay healthy to get to 100+

10:29

JD: What’s a reasonable hitter return for Ronel Blanco? (Also, I wasn’t the only person who left him on the bench for both of his great starts, right?)

10:29

Justin Mason: If I can get a top 100 player for him, I am doing it.

10:29

Jim: How you ranking Correa, Gelof, India, Estrada in roto with the usual cats + OPS?

10:29

Justin Mason: India, Gelof, Estrada, Correa

10:29

Justin Mason: Might flip Correa and Estrada

10:30

Broken Bat: What do you expect from Vaughn of BoSox once he completes his rehab? With Story out ??? Do the RedSox try him and his questionable arm at Shortstop, or plug and play t 2nd base? IYO is he pencilled to be an everyday player?

10:30

Justin Mason: I think he is an every day player at 2B. I don’t think he should play SS ever

10:30

Why not Zoidberg?: A lot of panic drops in my 8-teamer this week. Would you be dropping any of Olson, Hicks, Littell, Jared Jones, or Turang to pick up any of Ober, Bassit, or Kikuchi?

10:30

Justin Mason: Drop Olson and Littell for Ober and Bassitt

10:31

Guest: 10 man league h2h.   Who do I start at SS…  Volpe, Elly De La Cruz, or CJ Abrams.  Any of these guys worthy to be a utility player over a struggling Nolan Jones?

10:31

Justin Mason: I take all those guys over Jones, but I have been a huge detractor of Jones.

10:31

Jonathan: Looking to scoop Bailey Ober off waivers after a hasty drop from another team. Who should be the drop between Kyle Harrison or Gavin Stone?

10:31

Justin Mason: Harrison

10:31

pistol pete: thairo estrada droppable in 12 teamers?

10:31

Justin Mason: I think so. He looks lost.

10:31

Colton: Civale a good replacement pick up for Bieber? My dynasty team has self destructed over the past 2 weeks with 6 total players on IL at this point lol

10:31

Colton: Other SPs available are Crochet, Manaea, Houck, Lugo and Kremer. This is ESPN points

10:32

Justin Mason: I think Civale is the right pick up, but I really want Crochet in every league.

10:32

Bassitt: Bassitt is off to a rough start. Is there anything in the underlying numbers that raises concerns for you?

10:32

Justin Mason: Nah, I am not worried yet. It is early.

10:32

Guest403: Depending on who gets the call to replace Strider, any interest in Elder or Smith-Shawver?

10:32

Justin Mason: Only because they will get wins in Atlanta with that offense behind them. I don’t necessarily like them as pitchers.

10:32

Bob: Looking for a 1B–LaMonte Wade Jr. or Jared Walsh? Thanks.

10:32

Justin Mason: Wade

10:33

Patrick: in a 12 team AL only how would you prioritize these relievers for someone who NEEDS a closer: Chad Green, John Schreiber, Andrew Chaffin

10:33

Justin Mason: That is the order right there

10:33

Maris9: Is David Robertson the man in Texas?

10:33

Justin Mason: He definitely could be.

10:33

Maris9: When does speedster E Ruiz return to majors. He’s on fire in minors four games in — 6 steals.

10:33

Justin Mason: When the Oakland A’s stop being petty

10:33

Florg: Masyn Winn or Blaze Alexander?

10:33

Justin Mason: Alexander

10:33

Mochi: What do you think the logical timeline looks like for the MiLB to break up this budding Norfolk Tides dynasty? More specifically, Kyle Stowers.  He’s 26, they gotta move him at some point right?

10:34

Justin Mason: I think a ton of those guys including Stowers are up in May or traded for pitching.

10:34

Parker Tiger: Do I still believe? Cold start in majors after terrific spring.

10:35

Justin Mason: I think Meadows will be fine as long as he doesn’t get sent down. It is early.

10:35

Guest: is it time to sell on hoerner

10:35

Justin Mason: No, I think he will be fine. Still making good contact in the zone and is getting a little unlucky and just a bit cold right now.

10:35

Wayne: H2H Points, thoughts on dropping K Ruiz for either M Garver or J Heim?

10:36

Justin Mason: I would take Heim

10:36

Marsh Mellow: I was interested in Marsh also but seeing him get hit around by the White Sox made me worried

10:36

Justin Mason: I think there will be up and downs, but I like him as a team streamer in deeper leagues and a regular streamer in shallower ones.

10:36

Ryan: Is Christopher Sanchez droppable in a 10tm h2h league? Have pitchers like Ober and L.Allen on the waiver wire

10:36

Justin Mason: I am holding but I would pick up Ober for someone else if I could.

10:37

Hank: How would you rank Rodon, Whitlock, Olson and Lugo going forward?  Rodon has looked like he has no alibi thusfar.

10:37

Justin Mason: I think it is Rodon, Whitlock, Lugo, Olson for me.

10:37

ECLIPSE MANIA: Bummed that MIN game yesterday postponed Ober’s start to today against the Dodgers. Mr. Sporer says start him in 12 team leagues, do you agree? 5×5 12-team roto league (QS instead of W)

10:38

Justin Mason: I think I would skip it in 12s but I am debating back and forth in 15s.

10:38

Matt W.: Poor guy in my dynasty league went from all world pitching staff to almost no pitchers by week 3.                                                  SP: Gerrit Cole – 2024-2025: $35.8M FA (26)
SP: Spencer Strider – $1.4M (24) (PP 3/3) (ATL) AAS
SP: Edward Cabrera – $5.75M (24) (PP 3/3) (MIA) AAS
SP: Roansy Contreras – $4.4M (24) (PP 3/3) (PIT) AAS
SP: Taj Bradley – $2.18M (24) (PP 2/3) (TBR) AAS
SP: Eury Perez – $3.75M (24) (PP 2/3) AAS
SP: Kodai Senga – $19M (24) 24-27: $19M FA (28)

10:38

Justin Mason: Wow, that is unreal

10:38

Sam: Vinnie P is concerning…in categories, would you drop for any of Busch, Baty, or Caballero?

10:38

Justin Mason: Not yet

10:39

Too Many Bob’s: I was dancing for joy when Henry Davis got C eligibility but he has been has been pretty dismal through the first week.  Drop him for Jose Caballero?

10:39

Justin Mason: If you need speed, I can understand it.

10:39

diadem: You can’t steal first base. How long a leash does Johann Rojas have? The alternatives are unappealing but…

10:39

Justin Mason: I dropped him in my 15-team leagues this week.

10:39

KC Pain: 18 team dynasty, 6×6, I have C. Walker, Naylor, and Vaughn at 1B.  I keep getting reaaaally low offers on Vaughn and Naylor, like Baez or Clevinger.  Should I just hold Vaughn through a bad year w no lineup protection?

10:40

Justin Mason: I wouldn’t mind flipping him for cheap, but you should get more than that.

10:40

Matt C: Points League Trade. Bello and Bregman for Devers?

10:40

Justin Mason: yes

10:40

Charlie: Drop Mitch Keller for Reid Detmers?

10:40

Justin Mason: Nah

10:40

Guest: Hey Justin.  Currently have R Greene and Morel in a 5×5.  My team could use Steals. Siri is available.  Hold tight or swap?

10:40

Justin Mason: I think I could do that if I needed the speed.

10:40

Jerry: What’s the likliehood Robertson ascends to closer in TX?  How would you rank him, B. Stewart, and Kerkering?

10:41

Justin Mason: Robertson is way above them. I think he could jump into the role any day

10:41

J: You buying into the hot start by Conforto? Plausble that the power is all the way back now two years removed from his shoulder surgery

10:41

Justin Mason: I am not buying completely, but he does look healthy for the first time in years.

10:41

Guest: Time to go to 5 x 0 leagues or just have 15 DL spots?  😉

10:41

Justin Mason: looooooooooool

10:41

C Pizzle: Is Ivan Herrera this years Yainer Diaz?

10:42

Justin Mason: No, I don’t think he has that type of upside or the path to that type of playing time.

10:42

Charlie: I have Bregman and Goldschmidt on my team; worried about either or both of them?

10:42

Justin Mason: I am not worried yet

10:43

Alex (Mets): Asking for a friend: What’s up with Alek Manoah?

10:43

Justin Mason: Dude, I have never seen this kind of drop off that isn’t injury related in a long time. I just don’t know that he is ever viable again.

10:43

NatsFan: Two late round pickups – Confroto and Maikel Garcia had great weeks on my bench. Hope that either has made real changes? Both are showing way more pop than last year.

10:44

Justin Mason: Garcia has definitely added power and it shows. I think he is a huge breakout this season. Conforto is just finally healthy, for now.

10:44

Wilson or Tom Hanks: Steven Wilson (CWS) or Shelby Miller (DET) for a save dart? Or just keep on the wire.

10:44

Justin Mason: Miller

10:44

The Path of Totality: Please rank these RP: Gaddis, Shelby Miller, Lucas Sims, Brooks Raley 레일리. 12-team points. Saves and Holds league.

10:44

Justin Mason: Miller, Sims, Gaddis, Raley

10:44

Dr. Meister: How do you evaluate pitching injury risks? It feels like every pitcher this season ends up having their elbow evaluated by me.

10:45

Justin Mason: I just tend to stay away from guys with problems the previous year. You can’t avoid all the injuries, but I avoided guys like Bieber and Woo because they had issues last season.

10:45

KC Pain: Would you take the Os AAA offense over everyone in the AL Central?

10:45

Justin Mason: No, but it is way closer than it should be lol

10:45

Mike: Hold E. Julien for MI spot or grab Donovan, Dunn or Caballero (5×5 roto)

10:46

Justin Mason: I would grab Caballero if I needed speed or Donovan if I needed average.

10:46

Guest: was drafting Strider 1.1 bad process?

10:46

Justin Mason: No

10:46

Injuries and Maladies: Hi Justin! I already hate fantasy baseball this year, but …ROS in 16-team 5×5 H2H dynasty, do I want Canning, Whitlock, Ben Brown, or Paddack? And do I want Marsh, Benintendi, McCarthy or Doyle? Thank you again, Justin.

10:46

Justin Mason: Give me Whitlock and McCarthy

10:47

KC Pain: 18 teamer Dynasty 6×6, lost Bieber, Giolito, Gray so far.  Im so desperate im going to add one of Feltner from Colorado or Marsh from KC. Who should it be?

10:47

Justin Mason: MArsh

10:47

Need NL SP: In NL only w K’s as category, waiting for ERod, Monty, Cabrera, and Garrett to be activated.  How would you rank?

10:47

Justin Mason: Garrett, Monty, ERod, Cabrera

10:47

Chickie: Taking a chance on Max Meyer, at the expense of any of Tiederman, Stone, Taj, Mize, Flaherty or Puk? 12 team keep forever with no contracts

10:47

Justin Mason: I would drop Flaherty or Puk for Meyer

10:47

3rd rounder: How worried should we be when Manny Machado says his elbow isn’t 100 percent yet and won’t be til NEXT YEAR?

10:48

Justin Mason: Definitely not good, but he is still playing so I am not freaking out.

10:48

Adam: What would you do with Strider in a league that only has 2 waivers runs, tomorrow and in June? Would you drop now (assuming no more news), or hold?

10:48

Justin Mason: Probably drop

10:48

Dan: Do you think Luis Gil will be able to start going deeper into games? His stuff is bonkers but he really seems to struggle with command. If Turnbull’s changes stick and he throws well again today, who would you rather have between those two?

10:48

Justin Mason: I don’t know if they let him very often because of how few innings he has thrown in recent seasons.

10:48

Justin Mason: I would still rather have Gil.

10:49

Why not Zoidberg?: I knew I shouldn’t have paid $30 for Robert Jr.

10:49

Justin Mason: Yeah, I only have him in one league and I regret it.

10:49

Why not Zoidberg?: Time to trade A. Diaz while he still holds a little value?

10:49

Justin Mason: I am not overly worried on Diaz yet.

10:49

Guest: I liked bowden Francis preseason…time to dump?

10:49

Justin Mason: I give him one more start because he has the Rockies in Toronto.

10:49

Eric: Any thoughts on Verlander’s rehab outing?  average 93.5 on his FB, down about 1MPH from last year.  Concern, or just first start back?

10:50

Justin Mason: Just first start back right now. Keep an eye on it.

10:50

Tom: Vinnie Pasquantino, hold or drop?

10:50

Justin Mason: Hold

10:50

Guest: Who should I keep – Mountcastle, VinnieP, or Rizzo?

10:50

Justin Mason: Vinnie P

10:50

Fishing for a deal: Sell high on Trout?  Would you trade him straight up for Jazz in a 6×6 roto with OPS?

10:50

Justin Mason: In a 10 team league I might, but anything deeper than that, I hold Trout.

10:50

JD: ROS, Ronel Blanco or Ryne Nelson? (Deep league, obviously.) Which do you like to stick in the rotation?

10:50

Justin Mason: Blanco

10:50

Matt: Is Logan Allen breaking out?

10:51

Justin Mason: I think he is. I definitely am using him for his two-step this week.

10:51

Banksy: Is Robbie Ray worth a pickup and hold in 2024?

10:51

Justin Mason: No

10:51

What do you think?: Start Luzardo vs Yankees today?

10:51

Justin Mason: yes

10:51

Guest: How would you rank these SPs — Kutter Crawford, Hunter Brown, Jack Flaherty, Jordan Hicks, Ryan Pepiot?

10:51

Justin Mason: Pepiot, Brown, Hicks, cRawford, Flaherty

10:51

Jordan Walker: Am I getting sent down?

10:51

Justin Mason: I don’t think so.

10:51

What do you think?: How about Ober vs. LAD, Max Meyer vs. ATL, or Jared Jones at Philly?

10:51

Justin Mason: Jones

10:52

Patrick: I need saves in 12 team AL only….please rank these: Chad Green, John Schreiber, Ryne Stanek, Andrew Chaffin

10:52

Justin Mason: That is the correct order

10:52

Andy: So far, Bassitt has underperformed and Lugo has seemingly overperformed. Would you still take Bassitt ROS?

10:52

Justin Mason: Yes

10:52

Roi: Hey Justin.  Rank the following WW adds in order… Manaea, Houck, Gil, Littell, L Allen.  Thanks!

10:52

Justin Mason: Gil, Allen, Houck, Manaea, Littell

10:52

Guest: Would you take Masyn Winn over Correa in a shallow OPS league?

10:52

Justin Mason: No

10:52

So Gross: Grossman going to be the regular leadoff hitter. Any OBP league interest? Vs. aforementioned Lawrence Butler?

10:52

Justin Mason: Take Grossman

10:52

Gil: Thoughts on Gil so far? Start him vs. CLE this week or Bassitt vs. SEA?

10:53

Justin Mason: I think I go Gil.

10:53

Crochet a sweater: Are you a believer in Garrett Crochet?  He may not have many win opportunities.

10:53

Justin Mason: I love the skills, but you are right about the wins. Give me the talent and I will figure out wins elsewhere.

10:53

C2: Cut David Fry for Carson Kelly yesterday and today Fry is batting 3rd. Whoops!

10:53

Justin Mason: Ugh, I hate when that happens.

10:54

Justin Mason: Have about 5-10 minutes left but I will go a little long because I started late, but let’s speed round it a little!

10:54

JD: I bought too much speed and should probably move a guy. How would you rank Starling Marte, Jose Siri, Jose Caballero, Jake Fraley, and Brenton Doyle?

10:55

Justin Mason: Marte, Siri, Caballero, Fraley, Doyle

10:55

Jonno: Is Schanuel just a high OBP who will never produce much fantasy value?

10:55

Justin Mason: Seems like it.

10:55

Prospector: Muncy, Adames, or Gorman

10:55

Justin Mason: Adames

10:55

jackal3: Do you think Marco Gonzales can be decent in Pit?

10:55

Justin Mason: I do not

10:56

Date dart throw: Jackson Holliday will be activated on ___mm/dd/yyyy_____

10:56

Justin Mason: 4/20/24

10:56

The Path of Totality: Triston McKenzie or Matz. 12-Team points

10:56

Justin Mason: Matz

10:56

G: Do you think Slaten worth rostering in 10T SV/H ?

10:56

Justin Mason: Nah

10:56

Guest: better ROS – MJ Melendez or VinnieP?

10:56

Justin Mason: Close, but Melendez

10:56

ECLIPSE MANIA: Really wish there were day games today. Could have made some cool scenarios with the solar eclipse!

10:57

Justin Mason: Nothing like players going blind while trying to catch a fly ball

10:57

Waylon: I don’t necessarily need D. Hamilton, but I like the potential.  Is he worth dropping B Stewart or Lugo in 12 team mixed?

10:57

Justin Mason: I would drop stewart

10:57

Chickie: Bo or Heim 6×6 OBP

10:57

Justin Mason: Heim

10:57

Guest: Will Junior Caminero be up soon after he is healthy?

10:57

Justin Mason: Probably not.

Mustin Jason: You fine with a Lindor for Gunnar/Tyler O’Neil swap?

10:57

Justin Mason: I am ok with that

10:57

KC Pain: Is Campusano for real?  .300ish bat w 15-20 hr power?

10:58

Justin Mason: I don’t think he hits ,300, but I like him a lot.

10:58

TJ: Hey-O!  Probably been asked already, but thoughts on Kopech?  Worth a shot assuming he’s closing games on the regular?

10:58

Justin Mason: I have some PTSD from rostering Kopech before but he should be the guy for a while.

10:58

Cesar Geronimo: Anything to see with Ryan Feltner?  Stuff looked awful good vs the Rays.

10:58

Justin Mason: He can be a road streamer but I won’t start him in Coors

10:58

KC Pain: Is Presley (sp?) in Houston a hold for…holds?  He should be better and team should be rifht?

10:58

Justin Mason: I think he could be done unfortunately.

10:58

Guest: Keep 2 of 3 in 12-teamer – Tanner Scott, Adbert Alzolay, Pete Fairbanks

10:59

Justin Mason: Heim

10:59

Justin Mason: but close.

10:59

RIckey: Not sure when Bryan Woo is coming back, but sounds like it’s pretty soon. Who would you cut at that point: Woo himself, Kutter Crawford, Bello, Reese Olson, or Ober?

10:59

Justin Mason: Cut Olson

10:59

David: In a deep league– starting pitching tough, and I have Bieber, Alcantara, Cobb, and others on IL, . No one has Jose Butto in this league– worth a flyer?

10:59

Justin Mason: Probably not.

11:00

Justin Mason: Somehow I got through all the questions. I will stick around for a little bit and see if anymore pop up.

11:00

Justin Mason: Please don’t mess up your eyes looking at the eclipse

11:01

David: Think Christian Scott debuts in first half?

11:01

Justin Mason: Skenes

11:01

Justin Mason: Black

11:01

11:01

Justin Mason: Jones

11:01

ECLIPSE MANIA: Do you think Dylan Crews gets called up this season?

11:02

Justin Mason: I do not until really late

11:02

Mad Max: What are realistic expectations for Scherzer once he’s back? Does he still have it?

11:02

Justin Mason: If healthy, I think he can still be a really good pitcher, but I worry about back injuries.

11:02

What Gives?: Any hope for Foscue to get playing time?  Really upset I burned my last add last week and missed out on Realmuto when somebody dropped him, sigh…..

11:02

Justin Mason: Someone dropped Realmuto?!?

11:03

Justin Mason: Crawford

11:03

11:03

Justin Mason: Decent draft, but I am not a prospect guy so don’t take too much stock in that lol

11:03

11:03

Justin Mason: DON’T PANIC PEOPLE! It has been 10 days

11:03

KC Pain: What would be a reasonable trade for Raleigh?  I need a 2B and have Yanier Diaz.  I keep getting shot down in trades and cant figure out im unreasonable or league is.  18 teamer 5×5 dynasty
