Notable Workloads
•Garrett Whitlock, BOS: 25 pitches on Saturday. | Roster Resource
Closer Committee members Matt Barnes and Matt Strahm are rested and likely to get a save opportunity Sunday against the Orioles if the chance presents itself.
•Jorge López, MIN: 9 pitches on Saturday, back-to-back days. | Roster Resource
Setup men Jhoan Duran and Michael Fulmer should be available in a save scenario if needed on Sunday.
•Zach Jackson, OAK: 23 pitches on Saturday. | Roster Resource
Dany Jiménez (21 pitches) is also on “High Usage Alert” and even though A.J. Puk made an appearance on Saturday, he only threw 11 pitches and could be given a save opportunity on Sunday.
•Jonathan Hernández, TEX: 25 pitches on Saturday. | Roster Resource
Hernández, Matt Moore, and Brock Burke are all on “High Usage Alert”, making José Leclerc the most likely to appear in a save situation on Sunday if one comes up.
•David Robertson, PHI: 36 pitches on Saturday. | Roster Resource
A two-inning appearance on Saturday likely makes Roberston unavailable going into Sunday and with Seranthony Domínguez experiencing some soreness (see below), José Alvarado and Brad Hand become save candidates on Sunday.
•Devin Williams, MIL: 37 pitches on Saturday. | Roster Resource
Matt Bush and Taylor Rogers each threw 15 pitches on Saturday, but either is likely to fill in for Williams and get a save opportunity if one comes up on Sunday.
•Daniel Bard, COL: 22 pitches on Saturday, back-to-back days. | Roster Resource
Carlos Estévez (13 pitches on Saturday, back-to-back days) and Lucas Gilbreath (14 pitches on Saturday, back-to-back days) are on “High Usage Alert” as well, leaving Dinelson Lamet and possibly Jhoulys Chacín as late-inning options on Sunday.
•Luis García, SDP: 14 pitches on Saturday, back-to-back days. | Roster Resource
Closer Committee members Nick Martinez and Robert Suarez should be available on Sunday.
Injury News
•Seranthony Domínguez, PHI | Roster Resource
This is simply something to keep an eye on as there is no real injury news yet. He last threw on Wednesday where he took the loss against the Reds. Beyond that appearance, he has been solid in a co-closer role as that was the first run he had given up since July 10th. Domínguez is listed as day-to-day currently, but fantasy managers might want to check in on David Robertson or Brad Hand to see if they are available in case Domínguez requires time on the IL.
Seranthony Domínguez has triceps soreness. He felt it playing catch this morning. Will probably go for an MRI tomorrow. Phillies had three relievers available tonight and really needed Bailey Falter’s six innings.

Outlier Saves
•Yimi Garcia, MIA | Roster Resource
Jordan Romano was likely unavailable on Saturday after throwing in back-to-back games on Thursday and Friday. The Blue Jays are on a four-game win streak and Romano has been a reliable anchor. Starter Mitch White threw four innings and gave up one run, but he also gave up seven hits and the Blue Jays opted to use the bullpen the rest of the way. It then went Adam Cimber, David Phelps, Anthony Bass, Zach Pop, and finally Yimi Garcia. The only reliever in that group to give up a run was Zach Pop and the only other reliever to give up a hit was David Phelps. It was a strong showing from the Jays pen that was bolstered at the trade deadline. As the Jays continue to fight for a playoff spot, it’s a good sign for the team that they can get wins with their bullpen and without their closer. As they look to bring back both Tim Mayza and Julian Merryweather from injury in the coming weeks, the team is shaping up nicely to try and earn a wild-card spot.
