Sixteen years ago today Sony Sega launched the Dreamcast console in North America. It sported a 56k dial up modem for my very first taste of online gaming. Sure it was laggy and pretty terrible, yet it was still a landmark event in video game history nonetheless.

With expanded rosters and the ensuing prospect call ups, I did a bit of an “All Questions Answered” post yesterday. Only about half of the questions were about prospects — I got a lot of keeper questions and “who is on an innings limit?” as well — so feel free to comment here or there. Sure, I named this “All” questions answered, but if you ask a question about volcanoes you should see Jeff Sullivan instead of me. Or for Simpsons trivia, Paul Swydan is your guy. That said if you have questions on call ups, playing time, or innings limits here in the final month of the season, I’ll be answering questions live from 1 pm to 3 pm eastern and periodically throughout the day after that. Actually, if you want to make fun of the flubbed Man U/Real Madrid De Gea transfer, how Chelsea is sitting eight points back already or how my fellow countryman Son Heung-Min is going to lead Tottenham to the Champions League (via Europa Champs, I hope), I will welcome those comments as well.

A new Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser dropped yesterday, and like previous teaser trailers, I’m pretty giddy about this. I was a boy of 11 when Episode I was released, but even then I remember feeling disappointed by it. Here’s to hoping Episode VII lives up to the hype.

The long baseball season tends to take a toll on bodies, but with just a handful of weeks remaining, there is hope to be had for those looking to replace injured players. Alternatively, some owners may be looking to scoop up a currently injured player to make a push in the final weeks. Every player listed has sub-50 percent ownership in Yahoo! formats — so maybe they’re available in your league. As always, for more injury news, Jeff Zimmerman’s MASH Report is excellent.
Matt Adams, 30 percent owned
Count me among those surprised to see Adams expected to play again this season. After experiencing a tear of his right quad, Jenifer Langosch reports Adams seems set to return to action around the first of September. I’d expect his playing time to come at the expense of Brandon Moss, as both are left-handed hitters, though Moss owners may not see a dip in his plate appearances as he can shift to the outfield.
