I am a little confused by the wOBA ranks above and comments mentioning that the Twins hitting is not good (mentioned when discussing Jose Soriano and Cantillo this week). Twins have the most runs in the AL, albeit a weak AL. They do appear below average against lefties but have done well against righties which is where the 19th ranking of them for Soriano doesn’t match my understanding. Regardless, I wonder if certain preseason beliefs are still being held that their hitting is not good. Not sure I would call the team with the most runs in the AL (and 6th most in MLB) a bad hitting team. Also, last 30 days, they have the highest wRC+ of any team.
