I know this probably isn’t the place for this question, however, for anyone that can or wishes to answer. Should I deal my Matt Harvey and Jhonny Peralta stock for his Andrew McCutchen, in an NL only, no salary, keep for whatever many years you want as long as they were drafted and obviously in the NL.
I have a few rules for keeper leagues. Always get the hitter. Always get 1 player in the 2 for 1 deals.
Is Cecil this bad? Do you think he wears those stupid glasses out in public or just on the diamond?
Springer had a quad injury that caused him to miss time at the beginning of 2014, and it lingered until he reinjured it and ended his season. That was the culprit behind his lack of basestealing, I would think.
Haven’t listened yet, though I’m downloading as I type. But give me some reassurance that Gio, Hutchison, and Paxton won’t be this bad–I know you’ve already discussed Shoemaker, who I drafted (like these others) at least in part because you two love them. Or maybe just have a section on “who’s bad start is really worrisome”? Take pity and answer this: I also had McCarthy and have seen Wade Miley maybe torpedo the season.

Paul — I very much enjoy these podcasts, but I have one suggestion/request as to how you could greatly improve matters for your listeners. Could you please list, in order, the players (and not just the general topics) you discuss in the podcast? That way we can find information about a relevant player if we don’t have time to listen to the entire podcast. Some other podcasts even list the time during the podcast when each player is discussed. That would be ideal. But in lieu of that, it’d make a big difference to have the list, in order, of the players discussed in the podcast. Thanks.
…but be careful not to infringe upon the artistic integrity of each episode by doing so.
